Emmis NY has an immediate opening for a Continuity Director –EMMIS NY: WBLS-FM, WQHT-FM (Hot97) and WLIB-AM As the Continuity Director you will be responsible for the acquisition and assignment of all commercial materials. The candidate will ensure all spots run as scheduled and are compliant with client requests and station policies. Job Description: • Receive local, agency and national client and/or Sales personnel traffic and copy instructions. • Interpret instructions and ensure proper copy airing. • Coordinate with Production and Sales departments to ensure copy runs as instructed. • Enter copy rotations. • Assign cart identification numbers. • Research missing copy and provide Sales with missing copy report. • Maintain commercial library and production orders. • Back up Traffic Director/Manager as required. • Perform other duties as assigned.
