Univision and Six Flags Great Adventure partnered up to host the 360-degree sponsorship opportunity of Univision’s Independence Day Celebration Concert held at the Plymouth Assurance Arena at Six Flags Great Adventure, NJ on Saturday, July 1 st , 2017. The concert featured the hottest artists in the reggaetón/trap genre: J. Alvarez, Jory Boy and Bad Bunny.
By utilizing Univision TV, Radio and Digital Six Flags Great Adventure was provided with a customized plan that was designed to demonstrate Six Flags consistent commitment to the Hispanic community and their involvement with grassroots initiatives. Elements consisted of a Six Flags Media Campaign, Online and Social Media. X96.3FM ran a 3-week campaign with promos, ticket giveaways and an artist meet and greet sweepstakes. Univision and Six Flags cross promoted the event on their websites and social media pages. Unimas dedicated an entire episode of Viernes y Más to Six Flags and the concert that ran after the event.
The Independence Day Celebration Concert was a big success for Six Flags. It served to be extremely effective recording over 8,000 people in the arena on that stormy night.
